Doug Connolly is a recent Arizona transplant from Austin, TX. After growing up in Indiana, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, he returned to the Lone Star State to attend the University of Texas-Austin. There, he majored in Economics and Math, and then he did his best to avoid ever having to leave Austin. He performed stand-up comedy for about 10 years while working in education, children’s ministry, and then for a large bank.
Recently, he started his own investment advisory, Connolly Asset Management. He and his wife made the decision to move to Phoenix to be close to family and—despite their love for Texas—are very happy to be in Arizona.
After spending eight great years in Protestant churches, Doug happily returned to Catholicism in 2010, with his wife converting soon after. They have two sons and a daughter, and are parishioners at St. Joan of Arc in Phoenix.
