THEOLOGIANS ANONYMOUS

Great Food, Great Drink, Great Conversation

Building community in pursuit of intellectual, aesthetic, and moral engagement has always been at the heart of Catholic Phoenix’s mission. So, we are really excited to announce this new offering.

Theologians Anonymous will offer the unique opportunity to engage on some of the most fruitful and thought-provoking questions. And, in true Catholic Phoenix style, to do so surrounded by beauty, comfort, and delicious food and drink.

The idea is simple:

  • A three-course meal held in a private room at the centrally located University Club of Phoenix.
  • Available seats capped at 20.
  • A single, controversial/confounding/exhilarating topic explored throughout the evening.
  • Oh, and cigars and bourbon on the patio to cap the night off.

When: THURSDAY, APRIL 20TH STARTING AT 6PM

Where: The University Club of Phoenix – 39 E Monte Vista Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85004

Price: $35 per person

This event’s Topic: What are the soteriological implications of finding sentient life in the universe? In other words, is Catholic Christology incompatible with ensouled alien life?

Seats will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Click here to reserve your spot.

And, if you have any questions, or have ideas for future topics, please reach out to us.

The Renewal of the Catholic Soul in Our Age of Noise @ St. Mary's High School | Phoenix | Arizona | United States

In our modern society we are bombarded by the media and other outside forces demanding our attention. The added stress, urgency, and worry are by-products of this “age of noise” and it presents challenges for our Catholic community. How are we to have the strength to address these challenges? The answer is not so far off. Please join Catholic Phoenix as we welcome his Excellency Bishop Conley from the Diocese of Lincoln, Nebraska as he speaks to us about “Renewal of the Catholic Soul in Our Age of Noise.”

This will be a wonderful evening of discussion, fellowship, and growth. A reception will follow directly after.
